Our playgroup has been running for more than 50 years, providing local children with a safe and nurturing environment to play independently and make new friends. We currently offer a flexible range of childcare options for pre-school children aged 2 to 5 years old on Mondays to Thursdays during term time.

We offer a range of indoor and outdoor play opportunities and a healthy snack.

At our heart, we remain a traditional Playgroup, where children from aged 2 can take their first steps towards independence in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment and where our older children can develop their skills and follow their interests. Families have the option to choose either a 2.5 hour or 4 hour session. The longer session allows children to bring a packed lunch and is recommended for our slightly older children.

We are a registered Funded Provider with East Lothian Council. This means we are able to offer up to 1140 hours of funded childcare for all 3 and 4 year olds and up to 600 hours for eligible Priority 2 year olds. For more details see Funded Hours for more information.

Children’s names can be added to our waiting list from 12 months old.

Morning Session Playgroup
9am until 11.30am
£16 per session

Lunch Club - please ensure your child brings a packed lunch
11.30am until 1pm
£9.60 per session

Nature Club (3 to 5 year olds) - occasional blocks during the year (dates to be confirmed)
1pm until 2.30pm
£10 per session
